Roger Platt is is President of the US Green Building Council. He is responsible for overseeing the policy aspects of the increasingly global adoption of green building and urban development practices, including those recognized by the LEED green building program. He served previously as USGBC’s SVP for Global Policy and Law. Before joining USGBC, Roger spent 15 years as senior vice president and counsel with the Real Estate Roundtable. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where he helped found and chaired the ULI Sustainable Development Council. Roger serves on the Board of the World Green Building Council where he is chair of the Policy Committee.
